There is a friendly anglo-french Bridge Club in Pezenas which meet at the Salle Bonnefous, behind the Hotel de Ville, at 2.30pm each Wednesday afternoon and 8pm Friday Evening. Contact, Sylvia Saulnier (0467240115) who speaks good english.

The nearest Tennis Club is at Paulhan about 6km north and there's another in Pezenas. There are further details available in the leaflets.

There are several golf courses in the area.
Walking around the village is pleasant enough, however, there is a large network of 'Grand Randonées' across the region suitable for all levels of walkers and cyclists.

Wine:
Languedoc wines have improved immensely over the last 10 years. There are local co-operatives, such as that at Adissan with an excellent selection, ( turn north on the N9 then left at new crossing onto D128 signposted Adissan, through village following signs to Paulhan, co-op on right, closed lunchtimes). 'Picpoul de Pinet', a well recommended white, can be found at Pomerols, south-east of Pezenas on the D161 from Castelnau de-Guers.
The Clairette de Paulhan Co-op not as good as Adissan but not bad.
Further north at Montpeyroux, north on the N9, D908 to Ceyras, left on D141 to Jonquieres and Montpeyroux, for reds or left to St Saturnin de Lucian who produce a good rose.

Pezenas:
Just 10km to the south on the N9 this town has a delightful and well documented 'Old Town' with well preserved rich merchant's mansions. These often host exhibitions. This area also contains many workshops selling hand-made goods as well as the usual tourist items. The Collegiate Church of Saint-Jean houses a museum of religious artifacts and the 'Confiserie' is a must! The Tourist Office is in Place Gambetta. There is ample information on Pezenas among the leaflets at the house.
