The history of the farmhouses was always the major consideration during the restoration and the selection of traditional French furniture allows these farmhouses to feel totally comfortable with themselves. These houses have large traditional Charentais fireplaces and each is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, gas cooker, fridge and CD player. There are video and DVD players available upon request (large selection of DVDs for hire). The kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils together with plenty of serving dishes and cookware. There is a separate laundry area with washing machine, irons and ironing boards. The three- bedroom houses both have downstairs bathrooms equipped with shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Upstairs the bedrooms are furnished with traditional French beds, armoires and chevets. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided. The majority of the bedrooms have spectacular views of the River Vienne. The upstairs bathrooms in the three-bedroom houses are equipped with shower, WC and wash hand basin, whilst the two-bedroom house has a separate toilet. The acre of land surrounding the houses gives plenty of room for the large swimming pool, and petanque area (French bowls), as well as those areas where people just want to sit quietly watching the cows taking their daily exercise with the backdrop of the shimmering river. There is plenty of room for sunbathing on the deck surrounding the pool while if you prefer something more secluded there are plenty of sheltered areas to be found in the gardens. Barbeque and garden furniture are provided.
