Nearest beaches Royan (35 minutes) is a modem resort famous for its marina, where visitors can hire sailing boats and enjoy trips around the bay. For extended shopping trips, Saintes (15km) is highly recommended for its boulevards with a full range of boutiques and department stores, as well as two major hypermarkets.
