There is a roofed-over terrace at the front with table, chairs and a barbecue. The large garden behind the cottage is mainly laid to grass with more seating, garden furniture, a swing, sandpit and garden games (badminton, petanque/boule, and soft tennis). You are very welcome to use our solar-heated pool, which conforms to the latest French regulations regarding fencing, There are also bikes for adults and children (plus a child's seat) at your disposal. |
| The places to visit are too numerous to mention here, suffice
to say that within an easy drive there are many pretty villages and towns,
traditional French markets and numerous châteaux, as well as caves, like
the famous Lascaux caves or the enormous Gouffres de Padirac. You will
find a more complete list in the cottage and we are always very happy
to help you with your plans for any excursions. If you do not want to
miss that sand between the toes feeling, only a few miles away there is
a lake with a sandy beach
Relax in the garden, enjoy the pool, or if you like to be more active, horse riding, tennis, canoeing and skate boarding for instance are nearby, as well as two "vélo rail" and the "l'Appel de la Fôret", where you can walk and slide in the treetops. Explore our beautiful countryside on numerous signposted walks on foot, bike or horse back.
