The Shippern accommodates 5+ guests

Kermavio is a small farming hamlet consisting of one dairy farm, one arable farm, three private houses and us, all clustered together with fields radiating in all directions. It is almost completely surrounded by trees, beyond which there are stunning views across the fields to distant villages and tree-clad hills beyond. A break in the trees allows some of the views to be seen from our gardens.

 

The light and airy Shippern, which features high, beamed ceilings in all rooms, was completely refurbished for 2000 including new furniture and white goods. It is double glazed and centrally heated and is available all year round. The cosy living room has a three piece suite and there is a woodburner in an inglenook. From the living room, a chestnut staircase leads to the shower room and a large double bedroom, with its polished floors and wonderful views. There is ample room for an occasional single bed.A second, steepish staircase leads from the kitchen to the study with its plethora of roof timbers, sloping ceilings and library. A sofa bed or occasional single beds can accommodate two further people.

Outside is a patio area with garden furniture and a small area of lawn. Further private gardens are at the side and rear of The Shippern.

Our prices include gas, electricity, water, a weekly laundry service, a laundry room and use of barbecues. A boules court and undercover parking are provided and the large lawn and gardens are for the benefit of all guests.

The only extras are the ones you choose – a professional final clean and/or port collection and return. Please ask for details.
