This 19th Century farmhouse is set in the northern part of the Charente Maritime. In the summer it is surrounded by fields of rap, sunflowers and wheat. The only noise one hears is farmers going about their work

The Gite faces the southeast and is sunny inside in the morning. The patio gets the sun all day. The views around are unobstructed and the night sky is superb. The stars are quite spectacular, as there is no pollution in these parts.

The gite has just been built and comprises of 2 bedrooms upstairs with a shower/toilet between the two rooms. There is a mezzanine, which can be used as a bedroom or T.V. room as necessary. The main bedroom is downstairs with an en suite shower/toilet. They have all been decorated tastefully and comfort is the main aim.
