The field cottage is a single storey gite converted in 1999/2000. Together with another gite, The Bread Oven, which is also available to rent and some buildings in the process of renovation, it stands in the grounds of our own home surrounded by fields and other farms. The landscape is fairly flat which makes it good for walking and cycling, The majority of the grounds are available for your use with plenty of space for football, badminton, cricket etc. We can supply the bats and balls and a swing.

The gite is set in a semi-walled garden with open bard for shade, barbecues or shaded parking. This offers a degree of privacy, but with use of the small pool close at hand shared with the other gite.

Our home and your gite are located in a small hamlet down a safe country lane. The benefits of being in private grounds give you the opportunity to relax after a days sightseeing –watching the sun set as you enjoy a glass of wine. Or if you have done enough driving just stay put, use the pool, relax and unwind.

There is no telephone in the gite itself but incoming calls can be received in the main house. We ask that inside the gite remains a no smoking area.

Change over day is Saturday. The property is available from 4pm and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

We live in the main house and are there to welcome you. After that we are available whenever you need us! We are in the process of converting other buildings within the property,
